4×4: Adaptive all-wheel drive with new six-speed automatic

The all-wheel drive system is available in combination with the well-known 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 103 kW/140 hp (NEDC cycle fuel consumption: urban 8.3-8.21 l/100 km, extra-urban 5.6-5.51 l/100 km, combined 6.5-6.41 l/100 km; 152-1491 g/km CO2) and the critically acclaimed 1.6 CDTI \’whisper diesel\’ with 100 kW/136 hp (NEDC cycle fuel consumption: urban 5.2-5.01 l/100 km, extra-urban 4.4-4.21 l/100 km, combined 4.7-4.51 l/100 km; 124-1191 g/km CO2). In both cases, it comes with a six-speed manual transmission.

Elsewhere, Opel will also cater for the needs of customers looking for an all-wheel drive variant with six-speed automatic transmission by combining the intelligent system with the new generation, top-of-the-range 112 kW/152 hp 1.4-liter ECOTEC® Direct Injection Turbo (NEDC cycle fuel consumption: urban 7.9-7.81 l/100 km, extra-urban 5.7-5.61 l/100 km, combined 6.5-6.41 l/100 km; 150-1481 g/km CO2) that made its debut in the new Opel Astra.
